ReplyDeleteHi Martyn.. I had some work related matter to attend to in the area, so took the chance to walk al ong the Lampen wall socially distancing to two family groups on the walk, hoping for Cuckoo/ Willow Warbler/Nightingale... I can see Bryan East was out and had at least two out of three there..I did well on warblers and watched a falcon in the air half way to Reedbed Hide.. To my delight i saw talons out plucking insects in typical behaviour of a Hobby! Thinking it was a juvenile but all the normal jizz stuff did it for me...This was around 230pm Cheers Chris
ReplyDeletePs a quick check of the ramp before going home, i found egret ducks etc but around 315pm a House Martin skimmed nicely over the water to drink and flew over my head towards the railway
ReplyDeleteMandarin appears twice 20th March and 20th Nov
ReplyDeleteSib Chiffchaff was first seen on the 14th!
